I am something of a geek (well a registry one at least) and work for a wonderfully clever company, Foster Moore – The Registry People®. For the 26 years before that I worked for the New Zealand Companies Office doing quite a bit with computers and less with bits of paper as the years went on.
You will find some general observations about life as seen by me amidst these writings. They are of course all my own drivel and not at all representative of the views of my employers.
My blogging is sporadic like my attempts at fitness and manners.
I have the very good fortune to live in Sumner, Christchurch, Aotearoa~New Zealand. I am married and have three delightful daughters.
I spend a fair bit of time pottering around on the web and due to the nature of my work a fair amount of my life in queues at airports…
I once owned a 1985 ex Army V8 Series III Land Rover 109. It was a source of joy and frustration. This flickr album is devoted to that magnificent machine.
In recent years I’ve become an evangelist for electric vehicles and now own a Nissan Leaf and a Volvo XC60 T8 Polestar Engineered, my attempt to offset my aviation carbon footprint.
